Fondazione Egri
National Dance Center

The Fondazione Egri per la Danza, founded in 1998, continues and expands the work initiated in 1953 by Susanna Egri’s Dance Study Centre, becoming a reference point for the study, creation and promotion of dance. Recognised by the Italian Ministry of Culture as a National Dance Centre, the Fondazione operates across cultural, social and educational fields. Its main statutory objectives include promoting dance through its programming activities, with the touring season IPUNTIDANZA; producing performances through the EgriBiancoDanza Company; and encouraging the teaching of dance to young people through the Susanna Egri Dance School, professional higher education programmes and audience engagement activities.
