SCRITTO SUL MIO CORPO
PremièrE - 31 August 2021 - Teatro Franco Parenti Milano
“SCRITTO SUL MIO CORPO (Written on my body) is a profane choral prayer, which in its secularity contains passionate impulses, emotional imbalances, human and spiritual characters, precariousness and the hopes of the present time. A dance on inner experiences and on the fragility of our condition in the shadow of a devastating collective apocalypse: indelible and indelible wounds on the body and mind of each individual with a lost gaze towards mysterious horizons but in whose heart, however, an inexhaustible desire beats to life ".
In this choreography Raphael Bianco gesture research is based on in the writing body, in the corporeal sign that encloses the word itself so as to embody the element of the monologue in dance, without being a mere representation of it. The theme of the body shaped by history and the experiences carved on it, of the life of recent years in which we are confronted with restlessness and loneliness but at the same time also with new hopes and new perspectives. From death to rebirth: these are the founding pillars of this work, rooted and dedicated to the community that contributed to its creation and more universally to the human community which to this day still finds itself facing an invisible enemy.
The dance performance is the result of the project RACCONTA - MI - RACCONTO created to give testimony of the emergency historical moment we are experiencing and to create interaction between audience and artists despite current restrictions, through the web possibilities. BowLand is famous for its soundtrack, live with their music permeated with mystery.
