The EartHeart project, as the English pun suggests, combines the word heart with the word earth: The heart of the earth. The choreographic creation is dedicated to the power of nature, starting from the Earth and its ecosystems The first phase of research immerses individual dancers of the company EgriBiancoDanza in experiential phases in different natural ecosystems (sea, mountain, lake) in deep contact with the communities involved, to then be progressively developed in an installation and performative context, the final outcome of the first phase of research.

The  second phase of the project instead bears the indelible imprint of the first immersive and experiential phase, underlining the emotional, carnal and deeply human approach of the research and its results. Art as the expression / communication of an experience is the necessary foundation of the second phase, which synthesizes in the choreographic artifice and the theatrical space, experiences lived in the first person by the artists while preserving their gestural truth and expressive urgency, even in the abstractionism of a dramaturgy linked more to the flow of contemplation and dreamlike suggestion in a show with a strong technological and multimedia imprint.
